I can honestly say that we have made a great effort in our sales of Cafe' a la Mode. Vietnamese coffee w/ ice cream for those that don't know. Gross product was about $106 on Aldritch ring on Wednesday and Thursday. The process of which it occurred was that we broke even with a few bucks profit on Wednesday and we sold out on Thursday. Good job VAC! Stay tuned in for more news in the coming future, next up, posting up the newsletter on the site, will get right on that soon!

And here I am on ring road, setting up for Pho sales, not much going on and well...trying to edit the website only to find that the FTP server to edit the site itself is down....thats right, I can't edit links and the like when I cannot access it. All and all, starting to get used to using Dreamweaver and the like. I will start out using Photoshop and the likes, but probably those in the fundraising/advertisement section will look into it more and take care of it for me for the most part...and then get me those "images" and the likes so I can post that sh*t up. Well then...till the next posting!!! And...somehow need to get my fellow bloggers to get those invites...

Shit Sucks!

Ok, so I went to this event yesterday hosted by the "Objectivist Club at UCI" called Islamic Totalitarianism vs. Civilization (with a name like that, how can you NOT be objective?...dumbasses). It was horrible. I felt extremely awkward and uncomfortable. People were cheering for the wrong reasons. The people speaking were dumbasses. And there was only ONE SIDE OF THE ARGUMENT PRESENTED.

Oh yeah "Objectivist's Club" REAL OBJECTIVE.

It was basically 2 hours of "let's go to war with people we call our enemies!!11!1!one" followed by dumbasses white people cheering. I say "white people" because, face it, the crowd was ENTIRELY WHITE. Well, one asian, but he sat in the way back with me.

I just need to vent. These people seriously think we're fighting for Iraq's freedom. Hello? Somebody forget about 'mission accomplished' and WEAPONS OF MASS DESTRUCTION?!? You know, the fake threat that we just had to get rid of because THEY WERE COMING TO DESTROY OUR FREEDOMS?!?!

I can't believe people like this exist in real life!

Sigh...I tried to speak up. I tried explaning how I was from New York, and 9/11 got to me more than anybody else. I tried explaning how going to war over ideology will lead to a grey area where nationalism will get mixed with idealogy. I tried relaying the message of the Vietnam War, Amerca's great failure of a battle. I tried to convey my anger, but in a room full of people who support this type of shit, I was understandably nervous. Hella nervous. Like a Jew surrounded by Nazis nervous.

Not only that, the idiot SIDESTEPPED MY QUESTION. "I didn't believe in the Vietnam War." Real convenient, asshole. Try to answer the real question, that we mistake an ideological war for a war that's really about nationalism, WHICH IS WHAT WE'LL GET IF WE INVADE IRAN. You want to piss off a government, that's your thing. But invade a country, and the people will fuck with you. Just look at Iraq and Afghanistan.

Seriously, some people are only alive because it is illegal to kill them
